The Gettysburg Hike, first ever for this group, will take us through General Longstreet's July 2nd Attack. We will hike along the road, through the woods, and over battlefields long ago where our brothers fought for their freedoms. This is a phenomenal hike, I just did it February 22 for the first time.
This hike starts at General Longstreet's memorial on West Confederate Ave. We will hike up the street to the tower, past the Snyder farm, up to little round top, down to devil's den, into the wheatfield, through the peach orchard, and back up to U.S. Avenue.
*We will stop along the way at various memorials and such but please keep in mind this is a hike so if you need more time you can always visit again. :)
*Wear warm clothes, bring water, and snacks. It's still cold in PA
