  Fellow Hikers,

      As we end another year of beautiful hikes Id like to thank you for coming out,sharing your day with us...By Us Im referring to everyone on the hike(our community).

     Organizers/co organizers, hosts of hikes: Thank you for taking your time to donate back to your communities and making these hikes enjoyable and keeping us from getting utterly lost. In starting another year of evolution of a hiking group I hope we can continue to enjoy our beautiful trails,hikes,camping trips,kayaking,dog walks,walks, and talks....

      Members: please be aware;  All of us hosting/organizing these hikes are not paid for our time/our effort to be social....The 1.00 dollar donation charged at some of the events is for dues to pay for the meetup site,trail books and if more to pay for the campfire around halloween or another event we decide on(this is not for profit)..We do this to give back and share our enjoyment of meeting people and hiking the beautiful trails we find. Please try to be respectful and understanding that at times the trails arent clearly marked,we take a wrong turn or move too fast or too slowly.....Please try to keep with the group..some of us state a pace we wish to move along at..that being usually around 3 mph..In an effort to not leave anyone behind please try to stay with the group or notify someone near you you are stopping to sitesee/restroom break and will catch the group or not..otherwise alot of the other hikers time is taken to back up and look for you..If on a trail someone turns an ankle or starts having medical issues we will not leave you.. Have fun, stay safe and happy Hiking...
