Hey Shaneka! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it this eve. But I'll keep trying. Always a goal to do a "beginning" hike with this group before I find myself with the Sierra runners. ; )

I now know I won't be able to make it. Have fun y'all! I hope to join before the setting sun prohibits the fall timing.

Mike, is this a bit early to meet for some who can't get off work earlier?

There is a message from someone for the event on Sept. 20, I'll repost there, but he said it's too early.

Well, last Friday we started at 6:00 and it was nearly dark when we finished. We needed to move it back to 5:30 to give us enough light. With sundown getting earlier and the upcoming time change, I'll probably have to stop Peters Canyon Friday night in October, and maybe do Turtle Rock or Mile Square for a night hike.
