  • Hi... This is a great level 1+/2 conditioning hike to help yourself work up to the 2's and beyond...

We will start our hike at the Canyon View trail head and take the Wood Canyon trail straight out to the Dripping Cave trail (and Dripping Cave)... Then we'll come back via the Nature Loop, Coyote Run, Wood Creek, up Rock-it, across West Ridge, down Cholla and back up the Wood Canyon trail to the park...

The route is about 7 miles total, + - 800 ft. of elevation gain. We'll be done in about two and a half hours. Bring water, wear good shoes, all of the normal stuff... This is a short and sweet workout hike, no need to over-pack...

Here's a link to the park website with a map and other information...
