Join Hiking With Pride for the Howl at the Super Wolf Moon Hike at William F. Hayden Park on Green Mountain. This short 4.3 mile hike (round trip) with a moderate incline offers excellent moon-lit views of both Denver and the mountains to the west.

The moon rising on the night of January 20, has these characteristics:

1. It will rise at 446pm and become a full moon at 1016pm.
2. It is a Wolf Moon - the first full moon of the year
3. It is a Super Moon - as close as it get to the Earth
4. It will have a total lunar eclipse starting at 941pm (unfortunately, we have to be out of the park by 10pm)

CLOSEST TOWN/CITY: William F. Hayden Park on Green Mountain is within the city limits of Lakewood, CO.
