Needs a location
Please note that this is not a walking tour notice. I promised to our last walking tour group that I'll let you know how to make a reservation to visit the Shanghai Meteorological Museum (上海气象博物馆), located to the west of the St. Ignatius Cathedral in Xu-jia-hui (徐家汇).
To make a reservation, follow their Wechat public account - 上海气象博物馆 and make your reservation there (see photo of screenshot). Don't go and try your luck without a reservation; the guard will check. I was told that the museum is usually open for visit on weekends, one in the morning at 10am and the other in the afternoon at 2pm. But in the following two weeks, there will be more visits open. So please take advantage of it.
The visit is free of charge, guided by their staff, and takes about one hour. Expect half of your company to be pre-schoolers and the guided visit is partially oriented at children.
The closest metro stop is exit 3, Xu-jia-hui stop (徐家汇站) on line 1/9/11.
If you experience difficulty making a reservation, leave a message here or Wechat me: cindy1302
