Skip the Smalltalk @ the Brick Factory

Brick Factory

So this is like any other meetup in a pub where you order a pint and sit down and chat... except that instead of talking about your job, hobbies, place you live etc... you can skip straight to what matters to you. Perhaps we could talk about food, culture, atoms, life, intellect, that time you spent all summer at your grandmas house and hid ice cream in her bed, the things you love doing ....? I just don't want to talk about the weather! Please bring a gold coin donation to cover the cost of the meetup website. Feel free to bring any friends along For the skip the smalltalk meetups. its OK if you can't make it on time as we tend to have about 10 people, and people sometimes choose turn up later or to stay until 10PM.

Pub Trivia @ the Brick Factory

The Brick Factory

Meet at 6.30pm for dinner and/or a chat. Trivia starts promptly at 7pm. As organisers book tables, it is important to keep your RSVP up to date. Thanks.

Festival of Voices - Pub Choir (ticketed event)

Hobart Town Hall

****no actually singing ability required - I can't sing well, but this is just a bit of fun*** For more details: https://festivalofvoices.com/pub-choir/ Everybody can sing, and Pub Choir is on a mission to prove it. Pack yourself into City Hall with 1100 or so strangers, learn a song in three-part harmony in 90 minutes, and then have your performance immortalised on video forever. No audition, no solos, no commitments, no sheet music, NO WORRIES. Led by Brisbane local legends Astrid, Waveney and Meg, Pub Choir is equal parts comedy, beer, and musical genius. Music belongs to everybody. So grab a drink, relax, and simply open your sound hole (your mouth, FYI). It’s rowdy, wholesome, and so much damn fun.
