“If you build it, they will come,” only worked in Field of Dreams. Turning a vision into a viable product involves much more than building the product. It requires understanding your market, designing and building the product to fulfill user needs, and remaining determined yet willing to pivot through the inevitable ups and downs. Shannon Daniels, Founder & CEO of encaptiv—along with co-founder, Emmanuel Rivera—will share the journey taking encaptiv from idea to launch. You'll hear how the Shannon and the encaptiv team: came up with the idea for encaptiv, transformed the initial idea into something the marketplace wanted, turned the vision into reality, designed a product for optimal user experience, made key technical decisions, pivoted when technical obstacles reared their ugly head, built excitement and buy-in for the product before it was even ready.
