Holistic Touch is happy to be holding a new series of events that focus on specific areas of Health and Holistic Wellness. As part of the Delta Holistics network (www.deltaholistics.com), Holistic Touch is committed to creating events that give you an opportunity to learn and grow toward better balance in your life.
This 3-hour workshop will show you how to do self-lymphatic massage as well as how to work on a partner. The lymphatic system is responsible for immune system regulation. When the lymphatic system slows down or becomes blocked, fluids begin to build up, causing the whole body to feel tired, heavy, and make us susceptible to becoming sick.
Lymphatic massage is good for those who frequently suffer from chronic illnesses, a faulty immune system, depression, stress, and low energy. It has been shown to improve metabolism, promote the removal of toxins and waste, produce energy, and to help with respiratory problems. The treatment boosts the immune system making it easier to fight of disease and creates general feelings of vitality.
At the event you will be given the opportunity, if you desire, to try your hands at giving a massage. You will also be given the opportunity to volunteer to receive a massage. If you just want to watch, that is okay, too. But everybody who wants to receive or give a massage will have that opportunity. We'll have the massage table set-up for demonstrations and practice.

*Acute infection or fever
*Serious circulatory problems such as thrombosis or venous obstruction
