What we're about
This is a group to support a unique website for home businesses and vendors, as well as for event planners. Our goal is to maintain a website based on the needs of its subscribers. Please join the group only if you're serious about expanding your business and willing to share ideas on how to support each other as home businesses. Please note that only one representative (two if it's a team) from the same company will be accepted as members in our Meetup group. However; if a member doesn't attend three consecutive meetings, his or her membership will be deemed inactive, and another representative from the same company may be admitted as a member. We would also appreciate your input and feedback concerning the group and the website.
According to the Small Business Administration, more than half of all US businesses are home based. HomeVendorsOnline.com has been designed to help small home businesses by providing a tool to create or increase their visibility on the web.
Our group members are expected to have proper documentation, such as seller's permits and/or business licenses, for their individual businesses. HVOL is not responsible or liable for any penalties or losses due to attending at our meetings or events.
HomeVendorsOnline.com also gives Event Planners access to small home vendors who can be invited to participate in their events. After registration, Event Planners will have access to the Events Calendar on our site. One of our goals is to provide the small home business with resources to enhance their web presence and to provide relevant business information which might help with business start-up and continuing development.
As the site grows in popularity, we will be able to provide more tools to help the small home businesses. We want all registered users to feel ownership to this site and make recommendations for improvements. Please share this with your family and friends who could be interested in this web based service. The group membership and the meetings are free and will be held in Dublin, CA. After the first one, the meetings will be held in a "round-table discussion" format, where willing members will take turns to lead the meetings.
