Free meetups focused on being positive - on celebrating life and inspiring greatness in one another.
We are a group that is dedicated to seeing ourselves, others, and the world in a positive light. We strive to see how everything that happens in our lives happens "for us" and not "to us," meaning the Universe is conspiring for our own highest good.
Positivity is both an art and a science. Positivity as a science has been proven over and over in controlled studies. If you want to be happier, healthier, more resilient, more peaceful, then you simply need to do two things. One is to cease the negativity – the criticizing, complaining, and fault-finding that lead to disliking yourself, others and the world. The second thing one must do is to cultivate the positive – being grateful, patient, understanding, and compassionate. One must focus on the goodness in oneself and others, and on finding the gift in every situation, no matter how challenging.
Studies show again and again that if you do these two things, you will enjoy your life more and be more content as well. The main difficulty with accomplishing this is that most of us have been trained since birth to continually ask the questions:
- “What’s wrong with the world?”
- “What’s wrong with this person?”
- “What’s wrong with my life?”
- “What’s wrong with me?”
Trying to answer these questions drains us of our energy, inspiration, and love of life.
We need to make one change to these questions to transform them, and that is to change the word “wrong” to “right,” as in, “What’s right with my life?” Answering those questions brings back the fun, the hope, and the magic of life. What we do in our meetups is practice replacing those deep-seated negative questions with the positive ones.
We often only get to know others on a superficial level. We learn where they live or work or maybe some of their hobbies, but not much about them as a person. At our meetups we get to know one another on a very deep – very human – level, because we share about what’s most alive for us. We talk about what’s right with our lives and others reflect back to us the positive qualities they heard us display. It’s a very powerful way of communicating that leaves the whole group feeling uplifted, energized and inspired. You come as a stranger and leave having become part of a community – a group of people who encourage and inspire you to become the person you’ve always wanted to be.
Here’s a few comments from some people who attended previous meetups – two of whom were first-timers:
"What an experience! After having only been to one meetup, I cannot express my gratitude for finding laughter, support and compassion amongst total strangers. I look forward to coming again."
"I love this meetup! Genuine sharing of each other's feelings followed after laughter yoga exercise, with beautiful sunset! By the end of the meetup, I feel open, warm, connected and happy. It's my favorite place to go on Friday night and reflect on our lives."

"Great experience, energy and sense of community. Loved the laughing exercises and the 'share what's going good in my life' segment. Looking forward to the next meetup."
