Deploying Your Android Application

As the title says we are going to concentrate on deploying and supporting Android apps. I have developed and now support six android applications. From that I am going to cover my experiences with the various app stores including their pros and cons.  Plus I will offer some ideas and show a few 3rd party tools to help you support your applications with analytics, error handling, and soliciting user feedback.

Our meeting this  month will be hosted by ChaiONE. See below for parking and security details.

Park in the garage (1st floor) if it's open when you get here. If you arrive a little late and the garage is closed, just park outside the door. (If that's full, you'll have to drive around to the back.)

The building elevators require a card after 6:30 pm, so please try to arrive a little early if possible.  We will have someone in the lobby with a card for those who arrive 15-20 minutes after the meeting start time.  For any who arrive after that, please text Andy at[masked]

This was my first attendance of this group (HAD), and it was a very pleasant experience. I felt like I have received more information from this free presentation than from several other that I paid for. Allen Halsted was very open in answering both technical and business related questions. Honestly, it was very refreshing hearing about how much $ he made from each of his games and distributor. He shared with us experience and knowledge that he paid for (significatn amount of $$$), so we do not make same mistakes.
For a "commercial" meeting like this, providing so many information, people charge couple hundred of $$$ for a single afternoon session. I feel like I gain some money last night.
I wish more meetings like this one, and I want to thank Allen Halsted and HAD group.

Great great talk. Speaker was knowledgeable and very thorough in his coverage. The topics were over things that are very hard to find any practical information about.

Good presentation on a developers experience getting his apps to the market. Good list of app stores to use as well as a few gotchas encountered along the way.
