ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Public consumption or display of an alcoholic beverage is prohibited. PETS: Pets must be attended and on a six-foot leash at all times. Pets are not allowed in any park buildings, cabins, or shelters. Customer must provide proof of current vaccinations for each pet entering the park. FIREWOOD: Gathering of firewood is prohibited. CAMPSITES: I have 5/camp sites reserved that should be good for 30 at least (6/site) but only if people have small tents (tents rated for 3 persons or less).   We can possible fit more than 4 tents per site if people have 2 person or less type of tents  (= or < than ~ 5X7ft footprints).  IF YOU HAVE A LARGE TENT THEN CONSIDER MAKING RESERVATIONS FOR YOUR OWN CAMPSITE if any available or confirm people are sharing the tent with you. If we end up having a long wait-list we will inquire with people about their tent's footprint size so that we can see if we can let in more people.

COSTS: Its ~$200 for 5 sites/ 2nights. The cost will be divided evenly among attendees regardless if you stay One or Two nights.

EXCESS VEHICLES: An excess vehicle fee of 10.00 will be charged by the park for all vehicles over the limit of 2 per site. The park office will let you know on the vehicle count per site at check-in. After that each vehicle will be responsible for there fee. I will post the site numbers after I check-in friday/3pm.

Hiking Plans:  The hiking scheduled below is subject to change depending on weather and closures.  Review the posting before heading to the hikes in case of sudden changes.

    1. Friday, Setup at campsite, then optional around 6pm group dinner see post for restaurant.

    2. Saturday, Padre Island National Seashore Beach Hike ~10.5mi

    3. Sunday, Corpus Christi Exploration Walk ~6mi

FOOD: I am planning to eat out for dinner for each day at nearby restaurants.  For breakfast and lunch I am suggesting people organize individually or by carpool.  I'll have a small grill and stove that people can borrow for meals.
