    Concept of the Divine

Guest Panel Speakers, will talk about....

Concept of the Divine provides a unique opportunity for speakers to share how thier personal concept of the Divine has changed over time and shaped their lives, their service to the community, and views about their place in the cosmos. As an organization committed to interfaith dialogue and engagement, this conversation offers an excellent opportunity to hear from people representing diverse faith communities and other sectors of society about this important topic.

    Panel Discussion Guest:

Conversation With Rabbi Samuel Karff, Archbishop Joseph Fiorenza, and Rev. William Lawson

Moderated by Melanie Lawsom, Award Winning Journalist

Guest Panel Speakers, will talk about....

How can a shared concept of the Divine inspire three faith leaders to collaboratively address issues of social justice in Houston?

The “three amigos” Rabbi Samuel Karff, Archbishop Joseph Fiorenza, and Rev. William Lawson share their interfaith work and how it’s influenced their own spirituality and ministry in service to the community, moderated by Melanie Lawson, award winning journalist.

Working together they have tackled some of Houston's most challenging problems, including homelessness, juvenile incarceration, and fair housing.

    A reception follows the program.

-As it is "customary" with Houston Culture Scene Events; if you are running late, it is understandable. I just ask for a Courtesy private message to me or a comment on this event page to let me know.

If I do not hear from you and you no show, or if you are otherwise unaccounted for, you will be marked as "No Show".

    See you soon!
