The doors open at 7:00 PM, and the program starts at 7:30 PM. Everyone is welcome.

Program presented by Efrem Jernigan and students.
Efrem Jernigan is the President of the South Union Community Development Corporation which invests in youth programming such as science, technology, art. He will be showcasing Youth Environmental Education Opportunities in Houston because the days of reaching today's youth through a chalkboard is all but gone. Technology has proven to take it's place, but the world of project-based learning is on the horizon. It is opening the doors of curious minds and allowing them to engage in patterns of thinking that are non-threatening. Pairing them up in competing teams enhances teamwork and outstanding achievements. The end result is a unique learning experience that produces a stronger care for the environment and maybe some future scientists.

What a fabulous opportunity for Houston kids to see the world, make new friendships, and learn how to support renewable energy!
