What we’re about
Come meet other jockeys with similar interests. All types of motorcycles are welcome because this is about how we ride, rather than what we ride. Typical meetups are day trips of roughly 180 to 220 miles round trip, to a lunch location in the countryside surrounding Houston, via the twistiest roads we can find. In the summer, we may leave early, ride a shorter distance to breakfast, and return before the heat gets too brutal. We wanna feel the power and performance of our steeds without unnecessarily risking life and limb, and we encourage riding well maintained bikes while wearing appropriate gear. We'll rendezvous in the general direction of the ride route, always try to depart on time, and communicate when we are home safely. We make minimal stops (other than lunch and fuel) so we spend our time riding, but no jockeys will be left behind, and ALL PARTICIPANTS DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
We often use toll roads to get in and out of Houston so please give serious consideration to getting a toll tag for your bike. When everyone has a toll tag, the group can choose the best route from all available options. Get a toll tag--you'll be glad you did!
