Join us for coffee and coworking!
This coworking sesh is for supportive, inspired, empowered women who are looking for their tribe. We meet over coffee for coworking, empowerment, inspiration, resource sharing, collaborations and friendship.
We are a community comprised of creatives, freelancers, entrepreneurs, work-from-home mamas and telecommuters, dreamers and schemers who enjoy working hard, learning and collaborating together. Many of us work from home, but this is not a requirement to join!
We come from all industries and all lines of work but are united in our desire to grow our businesses and careers, celebrate in that growth with our fellow coworkers and share resources with one another.
All women are welcome in our coworking group - just because you work at home does not mean you're in this alone.
What to Expect:
To find us, order your drink and then head to the back of the cafe. We will be in the reserved back room. You can expect a lot of productivity and hard work, new interesting connections, resources from other female entrepreneurs, freelancers and creatives, collaborations and friendship.
Bring whatever you need to work - laptop, notebook and pen, planner, artist pens, earbuds, whatever!
The first 30 minutes will be a full group open discussion, introductions and socializing. After the first 30 minutes, girl bosses will typically begin to work on their projects and tasks, but you are always welcome to continue individual conversations. If you want to socialize with the whole group, be sure to arrive at the beginning!
Please bring a friend and share the girl boss love! ❤️ See you there! 🙋
Coworking with like-minded and supportive individuals has been scientifically proven to increase happiness, creativity, productivity and overall job satisfaction. When you work from home, are a solopreneur or a small business owner, work life can get a bit lonely. By joining a coworking session, you open yourself up to opportunities like collaborations, networking, client referrals and new friendships. Our coworking sessions become the coworkers you knew you always needed.
About A 2nd Cup:
A 2nd Cup is not only a coffeehouse, but also a business with a purpose for good. They are a non-profit coffee shop doing their part to fight human trafficking in Houston by raising funds and providing aftercare like counseling to human trafficking victims. The owner, a fellow boss babe, Erica Raggett, opened A 2nd Cup's doors in 2015 and has been fighting the shackles underground human trafficking ever since. By bringing our meet up to their location, we are also doing our part to help.
