Boba Drinks & Games at Teahouse in River Oaks

Have you ever tried a boba drink (tapioca drink, bubble tea) before?  Well you are in for an experience then!  Come meet us at the Teahouse in the shopping center at Shepherd and Westheimer for some boba drinks and games.  As always, this is event is an opportunity to find language partners since everyone will have a nametag to write what language(s) they can teach and what language they want to learn.  This is a joint meetup with the Houston Learning Exchange.

The link below is more information about boba (tapioca) drinks from the Teahouse website, but just to give you a quick intro, boba are small chewy tapioca balls that are put on the bottom of various flavored drinks (milk shakes, smoothies, teas, coffee shakes or juices) that you suck through a wide straw (yep, think wide as in the width of your finger).  This creation came from Taiwan, which is where Mandy grew up, and is highly addictive.  Teahouse has probably over 100 different flavors of drinks, as well as light snack food such as sandwiches and cookies etc.  Come on out and join us for some games and fun!
