CLASS: Lightroom Classic CC 7.3.* - Profile-based Workflow
Adobe released major changes to Lightroom Classic CC in April 2018. Foremost of which was to move [camera] Profiles under the Basic panel. We'll explore these changes, and review how the expanded Profiles that are part of Lr 7.3.* provide additional creative flexibility, and [hopefully] provide you with a usable workflow to help speed up your post-processing. NOTE: This isn't a basic Lightroom class - i.e. we won't be discussing how to organize your images, where to store them, importing, etc. PLEASE ORDER LUNCH Becks Prime allows us to use their conference room in exchange for everyone eating lunch. If you choose not to eat lunch and we have to pay Becks for the room, you will be asked to contribute to the room rental fee. YOUR TEACHER The class will be hosted by Charles Putnam. Please arrive with the understanding that this is a peer-led class rather than an expensive class led by seasoned public speakers or entertainers. We will all learn more if everyone participates in a cheerful and helpful way. RSVP / PAYMENT / EVENT FAQ Please be aware of our RSVP and Payment FAQs (https://www.meetup.com/HoustonPhotowalks/pages/10729522/RSVP_Event_Payment_FAQ/) before posting questions.

What we're about

At least once a month at HoustonPhotowalks.com, we drum up some crazy idea for a place to photograph and practice our photo techniques. We're a fun bunch, no pressure, no stress. Come ready to learn and share what you know among other photographers.

Check out our Member Discounts, Sponsors and other cool stuff on our Good Stuff page:

http://goodstuff.houstonphotowalks.com/

This group is perfect for new camera owners, novice hobby photographers, and old dogs that have been shooting photos for a long time.

Our group has 3 main principles that guide our way:

• Fun and Safe (we want you to have a great time, and not die).

• Honor the amateur photography clubs that came before us. Their enthusiastic interest in photography paved the way for the technology evolution that allows us to capture light today.

• Education, of ourselves, each other and the community. We learn our best techniques from each other, and we teach the community that photographers aren't jerks, criminals or terrorists.
