Lone Star Flight Museum is one of the finest collections of restored aircraft and aviation exhibits in the nation. Over 30 aircraft-most in flying condition-are displayed in two conjoined hangars of over 60,000 sq. ft. The collection includes WWII Fighters, Bombers, Liaison Trainers and Executive Aircraft.
Come join us for this exciting opportunity in Galveston. We will be provided with a guided tour of the facility to learn more about the history of each plane, and will also be free to wander the public areas. Depending on the weather and the museum artifact schedule, some planes may be outside of the hangers for us to photograph. Flash photography is permitted inside the hanger.
NOTE: The hangers are NOT air conditioned, so be aware that it will be warm, especially as the day progresses. Dress appropriately, and drink plenty of water on your way down to the museum (no drinks allowed inside for obvious reasons). Closed-toe shoes are also recommended.
