What we're about

Dear much appreciated and much valued members of this group,

We have decided to take a break with this group until we will be able to meet again face to face, in a physical venue. This group worked really well when we were able to meet at our fantastic venue at the City Lit College in Covent Garden, central London. We had a lot of members attending regularly, and numbers were always great in terms of attendance at each meeting. This group has however been struggling a bit attendance wise, from the day we were forced to go online. At one point we were able to offer our sessions in various parks around London, but this also became a challenge as winter arrived and with the further lock-downs. We shall look forward to picking up our work at a better time, where we will be able to meet in person once more.

PLEASE DO FEEL FREE TO WRITE WITH INQUIRIES OR COMMENTS IF YOU'D LIKE OR IF YOU HAVE ANT THOUGHTS OR IDEAS REGARDING THIS GROUP AND THE FUTURE RUNNING OF IT. WE AS ALWAYS ENCOURAGE ACTIVE MEMBER PARTICIPATION. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE GROUP.

This is an inclusive men's group where all guys are welcome regardless of age, cultural background, class, disability, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, faith, part-time worker, language, union activity, and an individual’s health status.

It is a London based affordable therapeutic discussion group lead by two male therapists, one Creative Arts Psychotherapist and one Councillor (Existential, trauma and Psychedelic Psychotherapist BACP accredited) ; where men are wholeheartedly invited to come and discuss things which really matter to them. This regular group offers a safe environment, where you will be encouraged to comfortably talk and share freely with other supportive men.

You will be encouraged to discuss things which matter to you, although you only always need to share things with this group which you are comfortable with - you are in control.

'I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the group meeting on Friday night. You have created a safe and open environment and everyone seemed to respond with complete trust and joy in sharing. I haven't been in that sort of group with so broad a range of people, and it was really interesting to share such an important part of their / our lives around the important topic of 'The Dad'. K.L.

It's great to be a man too; let's not let ourselves be affected by such unkind and misleading labels such as 'Toxic Masculinity'.
