Hike/snowshoe Falling Waters Preserve and the Saugerties Lighthouse Trail.
Rating: C+ approx. 3.5 miles

Join members of the Mid-Hudson ADK (http://midhudsonadk.org) for this family-friendly event. Children are welcome.

This event appeals to walkers and hikers of all skill levels. Some hills and a few tricky spots along the Hudson River shoreline can be avoided.

We will start at 11am at Falling Waters Preserve (FWP).
After FWP, we will all drive our own cars to the Lighthouse Trail (8 minutes away). We can eat lunch on the Lighthouse deck in the middle of the River.

Bring microspikes and/or snowshoes if conditions warrant (ice and/or snow). Check with leader. Shoes may get wet/muddy if it’s warm.
Bring food and water; binoculars if you have them.

Meet in parking lot at FWP, Dominican Ln, Saugerties, NY 12477.
Driving Directions: Off Route 9W or Route 32 south of Saugerties, follow Main St in Glasco NY to Delaware and York, then Dominican Lane.
For GPS: 45 York St, Saugerties 12477 will put you near the entrance where there is a sign.
