On the subject of defense spending, who would you vote for?

Candidate 1 says we can no longer afford to have a so-called “defense” budget that is larger than the next 10 or 12 biggest defense budgets in the world COMBINED. We can no longer sacrifice necessities at home, like education, health care, and infrastructure, in order to enrich military contractors and billion dollar companies like Halliburton. Candidate 2 says we have to increase defense spending regardless of how much we have to sacrifice at home. Candidate 3 says he's a centrist.

On the subject of war, who would you vote for?

Candidate 1 says he will never vote to attack or invade countries who have not attacked us or who pose no imminent threat to our country. Candidate 2 believes that the United States has the right to attack and invade foreign countries that the president doesn't like, especially in the Middle East, even if they pose no imminent threat. Candidate 3 is a "centrist" who believes something in between Candidate 1 and 2.

On the subject of climate change, which candidate would you vote for?

Candidate 1 says that the overwhelming scientific evidence is that climate change is a reality NOW, not fifty or a hundred years from now, and it is caused by human activity, specifically burning fossil fuels for energy production and transportation and that we've just about run out of time to keep the rise of global temperature below 2 degrees Centigrade (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit). If temperatures rise beyond 2 degrees, it's possible that the consequences, like the release of methane gas from the melting tundra, could cause runaway, catastrophic climate change, and we must do something about it now. Candidate 2 says that climate change is either a hoax or due to natural processes and that we shouldn't do anything. Candidate 3, a self-described "centrist," says the truth lies somewhere between the two above.
