I have not researched this to confirm the viability, but I just read:

75 percent of Americans are God-¬‐fearing Christians; 75 percent of prisoners are God-¬‐fearing Christians.
10 percent of Americans are atheists; 0.2 percent of prisoners are atheists.

Yup, can't beat strong religious training to prepare you for a life of crime. When have you ever heard of a Humanist or Buddhist serial killer?

Oh, and by the way, 75 percent of Americans are NOMINAL Christians. A goodly percentage of them fear the IRS more than they fear god.
