What we're about

• Have you been searching for fellow Jews, who feel their Jewishness strongly, but are not religious ... if so, we could be just the group for you! Do come and check us out - you will be most welcome.

• We are a community of Jews who live in the Orange County, California area. Our approach to being Jewish is secular and humanistic. We focus on the culture of the Jewish people. We celebrate the Jewish holidays in a non-theistic manner. We welcome all Jews, including people in intermarriages, LGBT, with any amount of connection to Judaism.

• We have regular monthly activities in addition to Jewish holiday celebrations, which can be attended as a member or as a guest. In order to make this an affordable membership, we meet at each other's homes or at a community room for our larger events.

• You can attend as a member or non-member. Larger events, such as the Passover seder and Chanukah have a meal served, so there is a fee charged for non-members. This Jewish organization adds so much to your life at a very modest annual cost to members. You will make lasting friendships and learn about Jewish culture.

• If you are interested in finding out about the annual dues to join as an official member, please contact Nancy at: naokamoto@roadrunner.com or call me at: (949) 386-0400.

• The Pacific Community of Cultural Jews is affiliated with two national organizations: the Congress of Secular Jewish Organizations (CSJO), http://www.csjo.org and the Society for Humanistic Judaism (SHJ), www.shj.org. You can also check out our website at: pccjews.org to read our monthly newsletter, the Chai Lights.
