EXCITING UPDATE: Spring in Death Valley Weekend Workshop - April 23-25th.

Hey Gang,

Signups are starting to come in for the weekend workshop in Death Valley.

I have some good news! April 17-25th is National Park Week and as such the entrance fees to all our national parks are waived for visits that week. That includes us and we each just saved $20!

If you have any questions on this workshop please email me at [address removed] or call me at[masked]-1561.

With some advance notice and your interest I will arrange carpooling from So. CA. Make the drive up and back more interesting (and split some gas expense) with another photographer along! I have room in my SUV but I will probably be meandering home on Monday down HWY 395, visiting some other areas along the way. You are all welcome to follow along if you don't need to get back on Sunday night. Call it a little added benefit of hanging out with someone who really knows the area.

When you register I will email you the information sheet on our itinerary and lodging so you can make your reservations. We are staying in a nice motel (4 star rated) that is just outside of the park and the rooms are around $50/night (roughly 1/2 to 1/3 what we'd be paying inside the park). Nice folks run the place and we even have free internet.

Right down the road about ten minutes is Bailey's Hot Springs. For around $5 we can soak in an amazing natural hot spring with private rooms (we'll probably not do this as an official workshop group as we have to soak au naturel). You can soak after a long day and get back to your room before your hair dries. It is wonderful!

I have added an announcement on this workshop to my site. Scroll down to view the images.

You can see many pictures there from my last workshop demonstrating the minimal HDR technique and light painting that I will be showing you. We will also be meeting one evening about 30 days after the workshop to critique the images and let me show you on screen the HDR techniques that I use.

Hope to see you there!

Best regards,
