This is a group for all Freshers who want to learn the Go Programming Language, and share their experience while at it.

Go, also called golang, is a programming language (initially developed at Google) by great stalwarts such as Rob Pike and Ken Thompson.

It is somewhat similar to C but has a lots of new-age features / advancements that make this the 'in-thing' for SysAdmins / Backend-Developers / App-Developers.

In this Meetup, we'll try to learn to program in this language and see why this is  considered such a powerful language of the future.

Very big companies (like Google) are noticing the power of Go and beginning to write applications in them, which means, soon they'd need developers to work in such a language. Obviously smart developers would easily understand why adding Golang to your profile makes good sense.
