Travin Keith is the Managing Director of Agavon, a company that provides consulting services around blockchain and other distributed ledger technologies (DLT) so companies and organizations can be better informed with regards to whether or not a DLT would be the right solution for their needs, as well as assisting on the way forward. Agavon, is also developing complementary software around both the public and private DLT spaces.
With Hyperledger, of which Agavon is a member, Travin has been heavily involved in the community since 2016 with the Marketing Committee and the PR Working Group, as well as the previous Messaging and Events Working Groups. He is also a co-author of the Hyperledger White Paper titled "An Introduction to Hyperledger," and is a member of the Speakers Bureau.
In addition to these, Travin is a Co-Founder of SICOS, a company working on creating a blockchain-based platform for the tokenization of securities, primarily profit participation rights, targeted, initially, within the EU. He is also an advisor to SmartCash, a decentralized cryptocurrency with a focus on community growth and merchant adoption to increase the use of peer-to-peer digital cash, a Slack administrator at BitcoinMarkets, one of the oldest Bitcoin trading communities established in 2012 with approximately[masked] members, and a Community Fund Trustee of Byteball, a distributed ledger public network that utilizes a directed acyclic graph (DAG).
In the past, Travin was a Board Member of the Nxt Foundation, one of the first registered foundations around a cryptocurrency, as well as was the initiator and interim director of the Ardor and Nxt Group, an organization intended to improve the ecosystem around the Nxt and Ardor blockchains.
