    What we're about

I have been traveling for the past 30 years and I LIVE TO TRAVEL. I have also been the Organizer of a Singles Meetup for adults 50 years of age & older for the past 5 years and have planned a great number of trips for my group (Costa Rica, Italy, Budapest/Vienna/Prague, Germany, Iceland, Spain, Egypt, Israel, Turkey & more). Now, I'm taking this National. I will post as much pertinent information on each trip as is available. I am quite thorough!

You may ask, why not book on your own? GROUP travel rates of 10 or more decrease costs 10% - 20%. In addition, with Globus, if you have traveled with them before and are a "Journeys Club Member", you get an additional 5% savings on most travel.

Our group numbers - Limited within this meetup, 10 - 20 per trip. You will find that as we grow and you see a trip that interests you, you'll want to get your deposit in quickly so you don't miss out.

I'm a Group Leader for both Globus and Gate 1 Travel so I've learned my way around both sites quite well and work with their direct agents from both companies. I will go outside those companies to get the best deals, prices, places & accommodations. Off season rates are crazy low and some of the best times to travel is November - January to get the best deals, but I will travel all throughout the year.

This group is open to Singles throughout the USA, women & men. Roommates can be assigned if you are not traveling with a companion. Questions will be answered when you RSVP so that you will be paired with a like minded single. Single supplements are available (usually averaging between $450 + depending on the length of the trip). Most group travel has 40 people in the group. That doesn't mean 40 of our members, that is in the total travel group. In the off seasons, there could be as few as 25, which makes for lots of room on the tour buses.

Type of travel (pace) will always be included. Please be physically able to travel without many restrictions.

Travel destinations will be all over the World. Travel from all major airports can be arranged. You can have the choice of booking your own air fare (transfers are not included when you book on your own and you won't get the group discounts) or you can have the airfare included. You can still earn Mileage points if you are a Frequent Flyer and have a airline member account with whichever airline we will be using.

Deposits* will be required on this meetup site and all cancellation information will be provided. Final payments can be made using your own credit card so you can earn points or you can mail be a Certified Check. Info will be provided on payment structures (if applicable), excursion options and prices and deadlines for final payment.

*The only added fee will be the credit card/payapl fee's that I am charged.

Required to travel - You will be requested to email me current legible copy of your Passport. Passports must be current and may not have an expiration date within 6 months of the last date of travel. I will also require current emergency information (2 contacts, full names, relationship and contact numbers).

Dietary restrictions will also be taken into consideration.

Air travel - If booking with tour travel included, you may provide your Miles account for credit. Choice of seating is not usually available and is assigned by the travel companies air department but once we have confirmations you can call and switch your seats and in some cases you can upgrade your seats (your cost, your responsibility).

There is no cost to join this travel group. Participation on trips is at your discretion. If you do choose to travel, please check your calendars and the full itinerary before making the commitment.

Cancellations - Dates for structured travel will have a cancel date and this will always be included. Some cancel dates will allow full refunds, other's may be a % of deposit, dependent on when a trip is cancelled. I LOVE TO TRAVEL will charge a FLAT $50.00 cancellation fee for administrative costs and that will be deducted from any agency refunds.

    Happy Travels,
