Power of Breath (Free Intrioductory Workshop)
Dear All, The first act we do in our life is to breathe in. And the last act of our life is to breathe out. Between this first breath in and the last breath out are all the breaths that we call life. The breath is our best friend -- it's always with us. And yet, we hardly know much about it. What's more ... it holds some timeless secrets to our health, peace of mind, and well-being! Do you know that we breath approx. 21600 times a day? But how many of us are really aware of our breath and its secrets? We lead hectic lives at work, at home, and dealing with everyday life situations. Living in a demanding world can negatively impact and deplete our energy levels. We invite you to join us and learn about the science & secrets of the breath, the innate mind-body-breath connection, the benefits of breathing techniques & meditation and why they are becoming increasingly popular tools for stress management and maintaining optimum health and happiness.     What we're about

    This group is for anyone interested in effortless meditation, breathing, pranayama techniques, spiritual knowledge etc. All skill levels are welcome. Members of this group will be meeting regularly for free group guided meditations and breathing exercises. There may also be short Yoga sessions conducted from time to time. Folks in the NOVA area wanting to be a part of a community of meditators are expected to benefit a lot from this. The overall idea of forming this group is to form a community of meditators who can do group meditations regularly and help each other along the way!
