Walk in the rain – A morning hike from QutabMinar to JNU through Sanjay Van .
Meeting time : 6:30 a.m.
Meeting Place : outside the TB Hospital on the Qutab-mehrauli road; near to Export Handicrafts Emporium with the big white elephant statue.
Parking: Outside the hospital on the slip road you will see cars parked - this is free parking
About the place:
Sanjay van is a reserve forest in south central ridge sprawling over 783 acres. It extends from behind Qutab Institutional area to Qutabminar. The forest is dense with thorny vegetation and its green canopy presents a visual feast to the eyes away from the din of the city traffic.
The route is marked by a dargha, guru goraknathmandir, eidgah, a few mazzhar, pond and a shelter area.

About the Hike
We will do Some simple Hike first as warm-up and enjoy the nice view

Timing: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Date: Sat. 23rd Aug
Difficulty level: Easy
Things to bring: Water, camera, Hat, Light Jacket and snacks
Plz Answer all questions it's mandatory
INSTRUCTIONS: Wear Full track pants and T-shirts (half sleeve or full sleeve) (no shorts or sleeveless / sando t-shirts allowed)
Wear sport and trekking shoes only Water bottles - 1 =Please it is important Get fruits/juices/energy bar / something to munch on after and during the hike Photo Id ( passport, Employee/College Id, Pan card/Election Card/ Driving License) with a Xerox copy
Most important: a good and positive mind set.

- No littering and No Sound Pollution. Please update if there is any change in your plans to attend the meet, so others members who are interested can join. This is not a 'Tour'/'Trip', neither am I a 'Tour Organizer'. Hikes/Treks are organized out of interest. Expecting everyone to be independent mature adults with a taste for adventure Considering the season in Delhi we can expect drizzle/heavy downpour during the hike. We can have a walk in the rain or do come prepared with a light jacket for the hike. Rain/No rain should not affect whether the trip is on/off. Please insert your mobiles/cameras in pouches to safeguard them from the rain. Hiking is an outdoor activity and there are chances of personal injury. We do not bear responsibility for the same. Attendance at the event indicates that you, as independent individuals, understand and accept the risks involved.
