- Embedding AI services in Android Apps
Want to learn how to embed IBM Watson services in Android games? In In this webinar you will learn how to create custom visual recognition models to use in Android applications. You will also learn how to use Text-to-Speech service in the same application. Prerequisites: 1. Sign up for an IBM Cloud account. 2. Install Android Studio To register: https://engage.vevent.com/index.jsp?eid=556&seid=93926 To attend: https://ibm.webex.com/ibm/j.php?MTID=m7b232b90bbb590e173432d0efec1653c
- Introduction to Machine Learning with Sound
If you're a developer and want to learn about machine learning, this is the course for you. Even if you're not new to machine learning, you might not have worked with audio files before in machine learning models. Either way, you've come to the right place. In this workshop, you'll learn to create basic machine learning models that you train to recognize the sounds of dogs and cats. You'll also integrate visual recognition to identify images of these animals. You'll build a basic user interface in Node-RED that shows the results of the predictions for both sound and images. To learn the basics of machine learning, you'll use IBM Watson Studio to build classification models to predict and identify animal sounds and use IBM Watson Visual Recognition to identify images of those animals. You'll learn how best to gather and prepare data, create and deploy models, deploy and test a signal processing application, create models with binary and multiclass classifications, and display the predictions on a web page. • Agenda: 5:00 - 5:15: Quick Housekeeping + Introduce the badge for the day 5:15 - 5:50: Tech Talk - Introducing Machine learning, Applications of Machine Learning with Sound, Tools to be used during the Code lab (viz. Watson Studio and Node-RED) 5:50 - 6:00: Break 6:00 - 6:50: Code Lab on Machine Learning with Sound 6:50 - 7:00: Other tools to explore on Watson Studio + Resources + Q&A + Networking • Prerequisites: Sign up for IBM cloud - https://ibm.biz/MLinSound Please bring your laptop to follow along with the hands-on lab • Expected Level: Developers who are new to Machine Learning.
