Monthly Meeting - Spirituality and Atheism, small group discussion

  • Sep 12, 2013 · 6:30 PM
  • Universalist Unitarian Church

What is spirituality? Is it just another form of religion? What place, if any, does spirituality have in atheism? We'll be discussing these questions and more at our September Monthly Meeting.

After some general comments we'll meet in small groups for a more in-depth discussion and then share our conclusions with the whole group.

As always we're starting the evening out with pizza and snacks!

I enjoyed my first time with IEA&A. Refreshing to be with like-minded people for a change. I enjoyed the small group discussion. Looking forward to more.

Love the small groups, much easier for discussions...everyone gets a chance to speak, less intimidating than the larger group. Maybe it could be an integral part of the meetings, after the main topic breaking into smaller groups to discuss the topic and share snacks.

Had a nice time talking to my fellow spiritual atheists. Had never really thought of myself as being in the slight spiritualist! I like the definitions in the handout...
Not sure why im not on the attendees sign in I guess.
