Be part of our coalition of Humanists with Secular Values and help be a part of creating awareness with local politicians that we VOTE. According to recent statistics "Nones", a group that Humanists, atheists, agnostics, and freethinkers are part of is now the same size as evangelicals. We will wear our Secular Values Voter pins together and help make sure the issues that are important to us become important to our elected officials.

Some of our issues that come to mind are no religious discrimination through privilege, no religion in schools or government office, no government money for religions, women’s rights to the domain over their own bodies, protection of marginalized groups such as LBGTQ, pro-required immunizations, pro-climate change action, stronger gun control.

Find me when you arrive to get your Secular Values Voter pin to wear during the meeting. There are many Democrats who are religious who share these same values too so we are truly welcomed by all and encouraged to speak out! Occasionally there will be an issue we want to bring to the attention of the club at large as well as local politicians so, be looking for those to bring.

Sizzler has something for everyone! Their salad bar is very fine and fresh and it also has chicken wings, meatballs and build-your-own tacos along with their signature steak, potatoes, and parmesan toast. Service is fast and very friendly and the prices are modest.

Many of our members are already members of "Greater Riverside Democrats" so come out and help make our local Democratic party aware of us together. Together, we can make a difference!
