Sorry I don't recall...
I use the term "nontheist", when people ask me about my religion, as most people have a stereotype negative image of the term atheist. I follow up with the explanation that "I just don't believe in any religion", and I have found that most people just simply except that as my right.
The feeling that I am helping to strengthen the nontheist community, if nothing else simply ny adding to the number us that share the same beliefs/ideas. The main reason religion spreads and survives, (in spite of the ridiculous concepts that most adhere to), is in my mind, a manisfstation of the herd instinct that we all have to some degree or another. Thus while education is very important in bringing about reason, the more of us "free thinkers" there are, the better the chances are for healthy change in the world.
A retired engineer that has always had problem accepting religious organization's nonsense. Consider myself a "non theist", and enjoy discussions with other free thinkers.
Nice people...friendly and seemingly happy.
