Usability Testing: Adding a Level to Your Toolbox

Every BA is familiar with the user acceptance test (UAT) process that comes at the end of a product delivery cycle. What about testing during the product development cycle? In this talk, I will give you an introduction to usability testing, why it’s important, and how you can incorporate it into your professional processes to become a stronger BA.

If possible, please bring a laptop to participate in a hands-on exercise.

Presented by Norm Sun, a user experience (UX) professional at Excella Consulting. He is a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) working in the field of UX since 2010. He is also the Secretary for the DC Chapter of the User Experience Professionals Association.

When: Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. (see agenda below)

Cost: Free for IIBA DC members, $5.00 for non-members.

Sponsors: Thanks to Excella Consulting for providing the meeting space and light dinner.

Can't make it this month?

We meet approximately every month, either the second or third Wednesday of the month. So if you can't make it this month, hopefully we'll see you at the next meetup. Also, if you have an idea, game, workshop, or story to share with the group, then please contact the organizer to setup a presentation for a future meeting.
