  • Hi everyone,

Many people reached out to me, to join my classes in order to work on your public speaking skills. So, here's a program designed exactly for that purpose. It'll be 4 Saturday afternoons in January. Limited to 12 participants. Registration is now open, and looks like it will be sold out quickly. Please read the details and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Hope to see you soon - Ege

Improvisation training has clear benefits on improving your communication skills. Along the years in our workshops in Turkey and New York numerous players joined our sessions with this purpose. They were teachers, business executives, academicians, sales representatives etc. looking for ways to express themselves more skillfully. Viola Spolin’s nurturing and inclusive coaching as well as her meticulously designed theater games helped them all to become better communicators in their work as well as personal lives.

Apart from her weekly Spolin Improv Workshops in New York, Ege Maltepe prepared a 12 hour program of Spolin games and exercises focused on strengthening our communication muscles. If you’re looking to develop better skills at public speaking, business presentations, team work and collaboration, and communication in general, this workshop is for you. Fun is guaranteed!

“We learn through experience and experiencing, no one teaches anyone anything” – Viola Spolin

Maltepe started Spolin-Ist in her hometown Istanbul, and is the Turkish translator of Spolin’s book Improvisation for The Theater. She often travels to Europe to conduct improvisation workshops.
