Many businesses or products that fail, do so relatively early. The primary reason for this is the fact that these companies fail to deliver the product that meet the Customer and Marketplace requirements or cannot be sold with margins that will sustain the business.
Forensic analysis of these failures often indicates that the root cause lies well before the business opens or the product is sold, it is embedded in the original design of the product and business. Can this be avoided? While there are no guaranteed methods there are proven methods to reduce the risk by assuring the compilation of better inputs to the product and business planning. How? By taking appropriate steps to identify the critical success factors, gather the necessary facts & data and follow good business practices.
In this session we will focus on Requirements Specifications. In a workshop environment, we will make use of a supplied template to begin to compile a Requirements Specification for YOUR product and business. The completion of a Requirements Specification cannot be completed in two hours but your takeaway from this program will give participants a starting point and a path to get to a practical and viable business opportunity assessment.
We will follow an educational program developed for regulated industries but these "Best Practice" methods are universal in business applications. Here's what we will be covering:
Tuition is free to all ARC Impact Community members. Discounts are available for all SLC Office, Entrepreneur Launchpad and CEO Space members. These discounts may be converted into donations to the ELP of other non-profit organizations. Please ask for details.
