Autumn Equinox Sunset Rainbow Labyrinth Walk

In mythology, rainbows are associated with hope, good fortune, peace, and unity. They reflect the beautiful colors of autumn.

As the daylight hours dwindle, we reach the point where there are exactly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness at the equator. During this time of balance, called Autumn Equinox, we celebrate the blessings of the harvest and the turning of the seasons.  Today, we walk a labyrinth during sunset on this day of Balance.

We think about all the good things that have come our way this year, and in years past and offer gratitude. By acknowledging our blessings, it sends a message to the universe which in return sends more blessings to us.

Please join us for our Autumn Equinox Rainbow Sunset Labyrinth Walk!

We will walk our Rainbow Rope Labyrinth (created by Jacob) and make rhythm together to offer gratitude and set intentions for the next season.  The location is near the Campbell bridge, where the bats come out at sunset. It is the end of their season, but there will be some flying over.

Our labyrinth walk will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. and continue until 7:00 p.m.

This event is offered by spirit-guided donation. (Ask within to know how much to offer.) Proceeds support the many offerings of the Institute for the Shamanic Arts.

Families and children are welcome.

Please bring water and a folding chair, blanket, pillow, or whatever you would like to sit on. Also, if you have them, bring your drum, rattle, bells, singing bowls, or other percussion instruments (We will have some for those that don't have instruments).

You are encouraged to wear colorful rainbow colors, masks, flowers, wings, regalia, hats,  etc.!!!!  If you don't want to, you are still absolutely welcome!!! :)

We will be in the riverbed, so park and come on down!  If you have a hard time finding us, call/txt 954-2004. :)

That experience reminded me of walking up Tumamoc Hill,
as you change directions, your perspective shifts.
The wind seems to change directions, but its really "you" who has changed course in a new direction.
sometimes you seem to be "orbiting" close to others,
then other times you are on your own for awhile.
(nice simple life metaphors with bringing clarity) :-)

as I was preparing to head over to the Labyrinth meet up,
I noticed a few stones in my back yard & I immediately had the idea that I would take them and place "unwanted concerns" into them, ( anything I was wanting to "let go of )and place it in the stone, & leave it there in the Wash, After walking the Labyrinth.~~~
Thank you for making the same suggestion and letting us leave them In the Labyrinth~ Awesome! :-)
