I give a 'free', forever ongoing, astronomy class at the Senior Center. We average 20 attendees, each week. You dont have to be a senior to join, but you must buy in for $72/year, which you can defer for at least a month, until you determine that you want to continue.
I've discovered that I have at least 3 years worth of stuff I can talk about that just skims the surface of what I'd like to talk about - weekly. My lectures are well prepared, and contain enormous resources from the live web, projected from my laptop to a flat screen TV.
I've been talking about intelligent life in the galaxy! for a year. I spent a year in the solar system. Please just drop in.. The more I challenge what you know, the more you ask, the more you'll dare me to tell you what I know.
The class meets Tuesdays at 12:45pm. Just come. 241 W 72st. Ask for Laird.
Email me at laird wh (one word) at aol dot com. My email address dates from 1993, sooo excuuuse me.
