This is a group for anyone interested in learning about different kinds of yoga, dance fitness, ZUMBA, aerial yoga, meditation, sculpting, cardio classes, etc. All skill levels are welcome. You will find master classes and workshops that will introduce you to new things and help you dive deeper into areas where you want more knowledge and/or experience. I started this group to make sure everyone feels welcome and WANTED at any of our classes/workshops, events. Everything is offered with the intentions of adding joy and quality of life to everyone who crosses our path. You are sure to meet like minded souls who are looking to embrace joy and happiness through laughter, challenges just outside of our comfort zone, and exposure to new things that will ignite the power within.
Inverting the body is great for stress management. Turning the body upside-down soothes the sympathetic nervous system. Our ‘flight/fight’ response is satiated and our parasympathetic system ‘rest and digest mode’ is stimulated. Calm and tranquility can be found of a long inversion. It takes time to master these poses and you may not describe these poses as relaxing in the beginning. However, learning how to do them correctly will give you confidence and help you overcome fear. This workshop allows you to learn these postures in a stress free environment so that when the pressure is on, you'll have these tools mastered and in your bag of tricks to conquer stress. Hormones regulate when inversions are practiced daily. General moodiness or even depression can be reduced or possibly eliminated with postures help right chemical imbalances in the brain and body.
