This group is for all who are interested in self understanding and want to know the answer to life the universe and everything and why 42 is not such a bad guess after all!

Philosophy, religion and science can be complex and often contradictory. It was Immanuel Kant who proposed that there is a limit to what we can know.

It was Bishop George Berkley who demonstrated that the physical 'stuff' we call matter doesn't exist.

It was the German friar, priest and professor of theology Martin Luther who declared that 'reason is the Devil's whore!'

Modern philosophers have teamed up with materialistic scientists and declare that free will is just an illusion.

The purpose of the group is to explain how Illuminism can resolve contradictions, reveal the true nature of life and provide a theoretical and practical approach to unfolding individual potential and provide answers to the big questions of life.

It doesn't matter how much or how little you know as we all have the same innate potential to 'become' . This process of 'becoming' is expressed in the Ancient Greek aphorism: 'γνῶθι σεαυτόν' which translates as: 'Know Thyself' and this was extended by Pythagoras: 'Know thyself and you shalt know the Universe and God'.

Illuminism has always been about the process of 'becoming' and advancing the dialectic. It shows you how to become more dynamic and how to unleash your innate potential. It isn't dogmatic nor is it based on blind faith. It can be applied to everyday life and once mastered will guide you through the maze of uncertainties and lead you to Gnosis.

If you really want to 'know' then join the group!
