Every other month, we seek to get together to discuss topics that may be considered impolite for public conversation. Sometimes impolite topics keep us from realizing that we aren't alone, that there's work to do, or that we have the power to do things we didn't think we could. Using a panel or guided discussion format, we want to get together to talk about things that, for reasons we can't quite pin down, make us socially uncomfortable. From talking about wages and salary, to mental health and invisible disability in the workplace, to our nation's obsession with conflating occupation with identity. We aim to misbehave and talk frankly about things that impact our lives. This group was founded by nonprofit professionals, so our topics will primarily cater to that audience, but we welcome and seek to incorporate a diverse range of voices into each topic. We hope you will join us for a little personal and professional enrichment!
