Welcome to the ImprovMasters meetup page!
At ImprovMasters, we add IMPROV GAMES to the prepared speeches you would expect to find in a standard Toastmasters club. A positive environment and structured feedback help us improve our skills in both areas. We focus on communication skills AND leadership skills to help you achieve your professional and personal goals.
The club is open to all levels of speakers and improvisers, even those who have never done either before. All our members were in that position at some time!
Joining our Meetup:
This will give you access to our club meeting schedule so you can observe our members in action and get a feel for how our club works. This is the best way to help you decide if joining ImprovMasters is for you.
Note: Participation in speeches, improv games and all other functions is reserved for club members, although we do offer optional participation in our warm-up so you can get a taste of what it's like to interact with our members.
For first-time guests there will be no charge to attend. For returning guests there is a $5 per meeting charge (collected at the meeting) to help pay for the room.
(Hint: joining ImprovMasters equates to only $3/week!)
Joining ImprovMasters (an officially chartered Toastmasters club):
If you choose to become a member of ImprovMasters, you will have access to all Toastmasters/ImprovMasters club benefits including giving prepared speeches, giving and receiving speech evaluations, participating in improv games/exercises, developing leadership skills through various roles, and many other benefits. We also offer a mentorship program to help get you started on you communication, leadership and improv track.
