Canceled Meetup

Board Game Afternoon

Details

Christmas Day, I know a lot of people moved here from pretty far away, so I figure a bunch of us might not have people to spend this time with, so come hang out and play some board games! This is not a Christmas specific event, so don't worry if you do not celebrate it, as long as you're not offended by the possible appearance of the most basic of Christmas decorations.

I will be hosting this at my home, and will find supply some sodas and juices, and will make something to be closer to a dinner later, but please feel free to bring snacks or anything you would specifically like to have.

Also, if you have any board games, bring them, you can never have too many options. I have Kill Doctor Lucky, Jenga, Disney Scene It, and Zombies!!! myself. Also, some party style video games are an option, such as Rock Band or Kinect games on my projector.

Also on that note, I'm not super private, but I do need to be safe, so the exact address is not listed above, just the closest intersection. I will send the address the day of the event by meetup email. Since this is my home, it is not the best place for a first meetup, please only RSVP if you have at least met someone who is active in this group. If you really want to come, just try to make it to something between now and then.

Lastly, Space is limited in my Apartment, so I do need to restrict the number of people that can come. Please only RSVP yes if you are sure you can make it.

Hope everyone has a great holiday! -Rick

I'm in the same boat as Kaitlin. Maybe would it make sense to do this at a coffee shop or something that might be open?

Rick - where in Suffolk are you from?

Honestly, almost everything seems to be closed. I think Golfland Mesa is open, or movie theaters, beyond that, everyone is either closed all day or closing at like 1 or 2 pm. There are outdoor options, but it's supposed to be very cold and decent chance of rain on christmas day.
    I'm from Riverhead Marc.

Sorry Shaun, but this event is actually cancelled now, but I hope you still enjoy laser tag tonight.
