 CloudCamp for OpenStack (aka “Stackup Bangalore 2014”) is a new event, from the organizers of CloudCamp, where you can learn about OpenStack-related opportunities, see demos of solutions running on OpenStack, share your own ideas, and learn about the latest ways to develop & deploy applications on OpenStack. Join us for this unique event and find out what is going on with the OpenStack community in Bangalore. Or better yet, submit an idea for an OpenStack application or demonstrate one you’ve already created for a chance to win an HP Slate tablet!

Who should attend?

The goal of Stackup Bangalore 2014 is to promote the OpenStack ecosystem in Bangalore. Customers, developers, IT professionals & anyone who wants to learn about OpenStack is invited to attend this free event. At the beginning, there will be an education seminar where you can learn about best practices for developing & deploying applications onto OpenStack. We will end the day with idea presentations and demos.

Idea Presentations & Demos
1) Propose ideas for applcations you would want to use on OpenStack, or that you would like to build yourself. Each idea gets 5 minutes, including feedback from the audience.
2) Demonstrate OpenStack-based solutions that you are working or are already in production. Each demo get 10 minutes in front of the audience.  At the end of the presentations & demos, the audience will vote for the Best Idea & the Best Demo. Winners will receive an HP Slate tablet! As co-founder of CloudCamp, Dave Nielsen helps community members organize their own cloud computing events including CloudCamps & Stackups. There have been over 300 CloudCamps around the world.

Larry Carvalho is the principal consultant at RobustCloud. He provides strategy and insight into the adoption of Cloud Computing technologies and has organized many cloud computing workshops
