General: Walkers can do either a 5 or a 10K walk. Jim Blessing and I will lead the walks and you will receive directions and a map of the walk. You can walk at your pace and the idea is to enjoy the (hopefully) nice spring weather, get some exercise and meet new people. A 5K walk is about 3 miles and a 10K walk is approximately 6 miles. There is no problem if you walk a shorter (or longer) distance

Description of Trail: The walk is on multi-use trails and city sidewalks. The walk wanders along a beautiful White River Greenway (a rail to trails pedestrian walkway) that wanders from downtown Noblesville through Forest Park to picturesque Potters Covered Bridge (1871) along the White River. If the Greenway trail is flooded, the route will go through the downtown and restored residential areas of Noblesville, including the historic courthouse square and a small cemetery.

Driving Directions: Meetup place is at Forest Park at the parking lot near the skateboard and playground area
From Indy, take I-69 N to exit 205 (116 St/Noblesville) Noblesville/Indiana 37 exit. Stay on Indiana 37 about 7 miles to Conner Street (IN 32/38). Turn left on Conner St for 1 1/2 miles. Turn right just past the bridge over the White River to Indiana 19. Follow Indiana 19 a half mile to the entrance to Forest Park. Turn left into the park and follow Park Rd. up the hill to the parking lot on the right near the skateboard and playground area in the center of the park.

It will speed up the registration process (but is not necessary), if you bring two peel-off address labels. Meetup is at 10:30AM. I

f you are coming but will be late, please call Jim or I at the below indicated phone numbers.

Make up date: In the event of adverse weather (heavy rain, snow, et al), we will reschedule the Walk Meetup for 1:00 PM on Sunday 4/27/2014.

Questions: If you have questions, email or call Cliff Terry at[masked] or Jim Blessing at[masked]-4036. Questions:
