What types of games do you like to make? What type do you play if any?

I like to make casual games. I try to make games that innovate just a little bit and put a fun spin on anything that I touch. I've stopped playing console games but I do play online flash games to try to get inspiration.

Do you make games full time or part time?

Full Time! FINALLY!

What skills do you have pertaining to game development? (Programming languages, artistic talents, animation, game design, etc...)

I'm pretty well rounded but not great at any one thing. I can program in Actionscript 2 and 3, HTML, PHP, and a few other depreciated languages. I have a degree in computer animation, and I have been making online games for about 7 years now.

If you are not making or playing a game, what do you do with your time? What other hobbies or activites do you particapate in?

When it's not snowing or raining I have a pretty good chance of being on a disc golf course with my friend Keith. I have to get outside sometimes ya know? Other than that, I handle the business aspects of my game development. Not that much fun...

Introduction

I started this group to network with other developers around the area and expand my skill set as well as try to find quality people who I might be able to work with in the future.

What Dave "Jacksmack" F. is saying about this Meetup Group

The group is a good place to talk shop about making games and to vent frustrations, get complimented on your work, or just kick back and enjoy the company of like minded people. We have a lot of fun and we are trying to tackle topics that will benefit indie game developers.
