Join us for the kick-off of the NYC | Indie Film Collective 72-Hour Short Film Challenge presented by Festival of Cinema NYC. Representatives from each team will draw a genre from a hat and be given a prop and a line of dialog to include in their films. Thirty plus days later, on July 30, 2019, the film is turned in - and teams celebrate.

We are proud to support Girls Educational & Mentoring Services (GEMS). GEMS provides a place for support and positive change for commercially sexually exploited and domestically trafficked girls and young women.

We will be collecting donations and/or individual items to build CRISIS BAGS for GEMS. Many of the girls and young women come to GEMS with just the clothes on their backs. Crisis bags are filled with necessary items they need.

Crisis bags include the following items: a backpack, sweatpants or leggings, sweatshirt, sports bra, and underwear. We will be accepting New and unused, sizes M to XXL, Zero to sixteen, at all Indie Film Collective events.
