The not-so-SAFE Act,  was passed by "Message of Necessity".  Governor Cuomo wanted to be first in passing an extreme anti-gun legislation and USED the members of the NYS Assembly and Senate to do so.

The sad part is many of the members of the NYS Senate allowed themselves to be used. They voted YES for this egregious piece of legislation without reading the entire piece of legislation. Most never even read the bill.

IF they had read it, they would have REALIZED their 'yes' vote was a vote to remove the liberties and rights of legal residents of NYS and not do ANYTHING to stop ILLEGAL gun crimes.  That's no way to represent the people in their districts!

Now is the time to let these men know how we feel about their inability to read legislation AND to represent us in Albany.

Please join us on Saturday, 7/13/13 at 12:00 to 2:30 PM at the intersection of Old Country Road and Glen Cove Road, Garden City as we let our voices be heard.

They need to know ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

You either REPRESENT us and the values of the Constitution and Laws of the State of NY or you will be removed from office.
